"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished"
Lao Tzu
Personal transformation is really an ancient concept, not a modern one as marketing lead us to believe. The journey through personal transformation has been taught through many disciplines and throughout time.
Yet today we find ourselves overwhelmed with a new re-cycling wave, with more bins per household than some driveways can cater for. Why am I sharing thoughts on recycling you may ask, bear with bear with ......
Somehow we choose to forget our mothers and grandmothers lived and breathed recycling naturally going about their everyday lives, they were natural recyclers, as life then supported recycling naturally.
With string bags they usually walked to the local shops to gather their bread, groceries and food shop, as most local communities had the grocer, the baker, the fishmonger and butchers in the high street and across the country. No plastic bags for them.
The glass bottles were returned to the milkman to be sterilised and reused. Make do and mend was a vital part of life, socks were darned, trousers and shirts patched, dresses made cut and shaped to measure as clothes were usually home made, once the materials had seen better days and had become so thin from wear and tear wash cloths and cleaning cloths and dusters were created with there remaining material. Nothing went to waste.
Personal transformation just like re cycling is not new and there is a connection found between the two and the quote I started this blog with from Lao Tzu,.......all are slow continual processes".
Like re cycling, personal transformation never ends, one does not reach nor arrive at a final stage, a Eureka moment, the journey is continual ...."yet everything is accomplished".
Personal transformation occurs gradually and overtime, until your journey through life ends. The true power lies not in the journey, nor the destination, but in the strength, the resilience and the determination of the human body, mind and emotions to carry the person through the trials and lessons of life.
The ultimate goal being to seek the life you truly deserve and reaching your full potential, and this takes time.
Be kind to yourself as you journey through, loving kindness should start with yourself by always be forgiving of yourself and approaching yourself with loving kindness. Then spreading that loving kindness to the rest of the world, then........."everything is accomplished".
Please be advised that everything in my blogs is purely for entertainment purposes.
These are my thoughts and opinions, and I must advise you to do your own research.
