Old Indian Folk Story .......

There is an old Indian folk story which goes something like this .......
An Indian Holy Man was meditating in the shade of a tree when he saw Cholera striding down the road.
When Cholera came within hailing distance the old man asked him where he was bound.
"Im going down to that village to kill a thousand people" ws the reply.
A few days later the old man still sat in meditation under the same tree when he saw Cholera on his way back.
"You are not a very truthful person" he told Cholera.
"What do you mean?" he was asked.
"When I saw you the other day you told me you were going down to that village to kill a thousand people. At least three thousand are dead and others dying".
"Ahh" replied Cholera, "But I spoke the truth. I did kill a thousand people. Fear killed the rest."
