Vibrant green field with rows of crops and sprinklers. Tall palm trees line the background under a partly cloudy sky, creating a tranquil scene.

Hi Everyone,

Well ........again Im blown away by the many messages in support of the farming industry in this Country.

I would like to take it further as I truly believe the farmers find themselves in such a dire situation now, that they need us to take practical steps to help them, and by helping them we are also helping ourselves, with glorious fresh produce, with all the nutritious benefits for our health and wellbeing.

We can all take right action to help our LOCAL farmers, rather than go online to National farms.

By keeping support LOCAL,  we will help all farmers across the Country, and save many more farms from going under or farmers having to sell their beloved animals and lands or end their tenancies. Once they are gone, they are gone for good and there's no turning back, so I urge you to group together in your local communities and take the practical steps needed to help save our farmers.

Fresh vegetables pulled from the ground either that day or the day before cannot come any fresher nor be more nutritious for you and your loved ones and neighbours and community. Far better than veg that has been flown across the globe kept in cold  store for possibly weeks before being sold as 'fresh' .

We can all make a positive difference to the farmers and to ourselves by uniting and collaborating.

Here are some suggestions for you;

To contact local farms to where you live

Go and visit them, discuss weekly veg boxes,  meats, chickens and eggs.

Maybe set up a local group, on Facebook , Mumsnet or through another social media group,  whereby you all buy from your local farm.

Set up and arrange a drop off point where local people collect their boxes weekly or fortnightly - one trip for the farmer, and also convenient for your group, especially the elderly and Mums who may not have the time nor a car to collect.

All of the above can be arranged and set up quickly.

Please consider getting involved.

We can all sympathise with the farmers plight, but now we need to take solid action to support them.

We cannot ignore this any longer, we must act.

By keeping everything local, keeps even the little farms going and able to operate through these dismal times for UK farming.

If we all pull together, we can do this, we've got this!.

And if all else fails, only buy British.

Please be aware that everything in my blog is purely for entertainment purposes.

These are my thoughts and opinions . I must advise you to do your own research.
