Herbs, Healing and Your Soul Journey

In times gone by it was the norm to treat yourselves and loved ones with homemade preparations of plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables in the first instance before going to the Doctor. The Doctor charged, and a lot of people could not afford to pay for their services at that time or chose not to, as there was usually someone in the community who was knowledgeable about plants and fresh goodness from natures bounty. The community had faith in natural healing. Closer to home, a community member was respected as the local healer, I remember as a young child being fascinated by the stories of her journey and how she prepared her concoctions from freshly picked plants and herbs in the morning, delivered and handed to the sick in the afternoon.
She was a believer in eating only vegetable soups while regaining health and while people were taking her preparations. The soup was to have as many different types of vegetables and only to be cooked long enough for the vegetables to be soft enough to be mashed, and to be cooked in a little bone broth then mashed into the broth before serving. No seasoning. These were her instructions when delivering the preparations. In some cases the combination of natural preparations and multi vegetable soup mashed into bone broth helped people where medical science had failed.
My family being Londoners frequented and laid good store with the health company G.Baldwin & Co an important part of Londoners lives since 1844, now National and wider afield as they post out products far and wide. I recommend you get a copy of their annual catalogue, as their range is vast and good. They also offer a 15 minute free consultation with one of their herbalists.
Scotland also has their own good and solid herbalist health shop, Napiers based in Edinburgh since 1860. Just like Baldwins in London, they also offer free consultations with their herbalists.
Nothing can beat consulting with a private herbalist, but again if monies are an issue and it is for many then contact either Baldwins or Napiers and talk to a fully trained herbalist who will be able to help you and advise you on what to take to support your health once you have shared your own personal details and health history with them, they are excellent, they take your information and prepare a herbal mix for you to take. And if you couple the herbal mix you take with the vegetable broth/soup as explained above, then Im sure your health will benefit. Remember to eat the vegetable soup at every meal only while taking the first bottle of herbal mixture,I am not suggesting you stay eating vegetable soup should you be on long term herbs. : )
Possibly we can all reconsider our outlook on our own personal healthcare and look more to nature for support with some illnesses and some health cases. Personally it is always my first port of call.
The benefits of returning to natures bounty are numerous, but one effect can be seen by ourselves and others, it is the effect on our souls journey, our inner self becomes lighter and brighter and therefore shines through, to be seen by everyone who comes into our orbit.
We also feel lighter, brighter and better, with people commenting on the light radiating from us, how we look so much lighter in the face. Others can see we look lighter, brighter and better. They may not know why, but they can see it, and sometimes comment on it, bringing wonderful confirmation that we are on the right track.
As we travel along on our own individual journey, Mother Earth with all her bounty is so lovingly willing to share her abundance, we just need to know where to look, what to take and what to do with it, it is at those times we need a little help and guidance to find what can help us and how to take it.
