Colour Therapy? Colour Psychology? Colour Stylist?

There seems to be such a muddle over the above three, what are they, how can they help me, what do they do, who shall I contact etc etc.
Especially the press and media, they don't seem clear on who does what going by the questions I have answered over time, so I thought a quick blog on the subject might help bring clarity for everyone.
They don't cross over as they are offering quite different abilities, their only common thread is colour.
Hopefully this simple explanation will clarify and explain the differences between the three.
Going by the number of media people who have sought advice, they don't seem clear at all about the differences, so where does that leave the public and students wanting to train? Hopefully this will help not only them but everyone interested in colour. What I will advise is to ask whom ever you seek out for whatever you are wanting to achieve is to ask first, where they trained, with whom and when, before proceeding.
From their feedback when we talk I have been surprised to learn that there are some claiming to be colour psychologists, when they have allegedly only trained to be a colour stylist or a colour therapist, which is such a shame for the profession as a whole for the public, the press and business who seek certain advice, sadly it can confuse and lets be frank, it isn't right. Training is fairly straightforward and quick for a colour stylist in comparison to a colour therapist who goes through two stages, a certificate course and diploma course,The most robust training out of the three is for the Colour Psychologist.
Quick over view
Colour Stylist / Analyst. choosing the right colours to wear
Colour Therapy. personal one to one healing with colour
Colour Psychology. in the main for corporate and business
Colour Therapy
Colour therapy is a healing complementary therapy, a relaxing hands on therapy one to one, where the client lays on a massage couch or if they cannot get onto a massage couch the colour therapist can offer colour therapy while the client sits in a chair or lays on the bed.
The colour therapist works with coloured silks and coloured lights and sometimes crystals. They will lay the silks of choice onto their clients body, place crystals on appropriate areas of the body if used, and sometimes beam gentle coloured lights onto one or more of the seven chakra centres of choice.
Colour Psychology
Colour psychology is in the main used for the business arena for use in choosing the correct balanced colours for the environment , buildings etc both inside and outside in every setting such as in gardens, hospitals, corporate buildings, hotels, schools, NHS etc
Colour psychology is also used in marketing, sales, digital, online, product design, product colours, textiles, clothing, fashion, furniture, perfumer, cosmetics, accessories, lighting etc etc.
Colour Stylist/Colour Analyst
Colour stylist is confined to choosing the correct colours of clothing and make up to suit their clients complexion. Working on the premise of colour seasons, I understand there are 4 to choose from, once the season is known the stylist then chooses a range of colours from that range to suit their client. Enabling the client, when shopping, to buy clothes and accessories in the colour range as advised.
